Choosing a high school is an important decision. Our admissions process is an opportunity for us to get to know your family and for you to experience Brophy firsthand. We hope your time on campus gives you a true sense of what it means to be part of the Brophy community.

More Than an Application

We look beyond grades and test scores to understand each applicant as a whole person. Throughout the admissions process, we consider a young man's character, interests, potential, and readiness to engage in the opportunities and challenges of a Brophy education.

Incoming Freshmen

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry

Create your account in myBrophy to begin the admissions process. You will automatically start to receive our semi-monthly Admissions Newsletter with important event information and deadlines.

Step 2: Experience Brophy

Families are encouraged to explore Brophy by registering for a campus tour, Shadow day, Open House, Information Social, and other campus events throughout the year.

Step 3: Complete your Application Checklist

Fill out the required screens and questionnaires in the Application Checklist by the application deadline. The application fee is $60.

Step 4: Take HSPT Entrance Exam

Complete the required testing as part of your application. The exam will be offered on December 5 and December 12, 2026 from 7:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Brophy’s campus. Register for the exam in the Admissions Portal. The test fee is $40.

Note: Extended time and other accommodations are available to those students who qualify. To receive the additional testing time, an applicant must submit a current and up-to-date IEP, 504 plan or Student Support Plan on file with his current school describing the specific accommodations. You can upload it to the Admissions Checklist after October 1 or email it to admissions@brophyprep.org. Please get in touch with the Admissions Office by November 1 to discuss what to expect when extra time is allowed.

Step 5: Submit Supporting Materials

Complete the application checklist by submitting report cards, sending digital recommendation forms, and uploading all required documents and personal video.

Step 6: Admissions Decisions

Admissions decisions are published in mid-February online in the Admissions Portal for all applicants who completed the application checklist by the January 15 deadline.

Step 7: Enrollment

Students who are accepted will have four weeks to decide to enroll at Brophy for the upcoming school year by completing online registration forms, uploading required documents, and paying a tuition deposit.

Transfer Students

Transfer to Brophy (Incoming Sophomores and Juniors)

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry

Starting March 1, create your account in myBrophy to begin the admissions process.

Step 2: Complete your Application Checklist

Fill out the required screens and questionnaires, send digital recommendations, and upload all required application documents in the Application Checklist by the application deadline.

Step 3: Pay Application Fee

Pay the $60 application fee online. This fee is waived if you applied the previous year.

Step 4: Submit Transcripts

Download the Transcript Request Form and provide it to the registrar at your current school. An unofficial high school transcript must be emailed to the Admissions Office.

Step 5: Create your Admissions Video

Create a two-minute personal video and upload it to the Application Checklist. The Admissions will provide detailed instructions for the content of the video in early Spring.

Step 6: Personal Interview

Schedule a 20-minute interview (in person or virtual) in April or May.

Step 7: Admissions Decision

All completed applications will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee, and decisions are made in late May through mid-June.
