Optional summer training is underway, but the team allows the Broncos to join at any point. Practices are conducted Monday through Thursday mornings throughout the duration of summer school. The first day of official, mandatory practices for the fall season is August 3. To be added to the communication list, or if you have any questions, contact Head Coach Oscar Borboa (oborboa@brophyprep.org). | Football |
| Head Coach Jason Jewell FRESHMAN FOOTBALL – NO CUTS Brophy welcomes any freshman who would like to participate in the FRESHMAN FOOTBALL PROGRAM. Since there are no cuts, size dictates two divisions within the freshman program — Red division and White division. It is one team, however, that works together to train and support one another as they lay the foundation for a future varsity program. Questions regarding freshman football (Red or White) should go to Coach Scott Heideman. |
| Freshman Tennis |
Freshman Head Coach Bill Woods Freshman tennis is a no-cut sport and is played in the fall. All athletes must have their physicals turned in before being allowed to play. Freshman Tennis is a great way to get introduced to team tennis. It is an eight-week program that runs from late August through early September. Practices are typically Monday–Thursday after school until 5:00 p.m., with matches once or twice a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to make friends and connect to the tennis program. Freshman tennis is not required to try out for varsity and junior varsity, but it is highly encouraged. Contact Head Coach Bill Woods with questions at bwoods@brophyprep.org.
