Volleyball Falls to O’Connor in BIVT Consolation Final

Brophy lost to Sandra Day O’Connor in the consolation final on Saturday 25-23, 25-21, ending their run in the Brophy Invitational Volleyball Tournament. The Broncos went 3-0-2 in pool play, highlighted by a 1-1 split with Loyola, the top-ranked team in the country by MaxPreps. Brophy lost to O’Connor in the second match of the day Saturday 2-1 (18-25, 29-27, 18-16). They responded with wins over Higley and Perry to earn a rematch. In the consolation final, they defeated Higley and Perry for a second chance at O’Connor. 
Brophy's Connor Oldani and Carson Collier-Ehrich were named to the all-tournament team.  Sean Kelly from Loyola was named the Most Valuable Player.
