Basketball Loses to Perry in Elite Eight

Perry posted a  75-58 win over Brophy in the AIA Open Division quarterfinals with a big fourth quarter. The game was tied at 46 all after three quarters but Pumas exploded for 29 points in the final eight minutes. It was a great fight by the Broncos and a show of support from the Stampede.
Sophomore Daylen Sharper led the team with 20 points and senior Braeden Speed had 17 points in his final career game. Senior Luke Rehl and junior Ryan Burbach both had six points in the game. 
Perry advances to face Basha in the semifinals. The Broncos finish at 17-11 on the season with the AIA Open Division quarterfinal appearance.
