Dall’s 65 Lead Golf in First Round at Brophy Invitational

Senior Henry Dall shot a seven-under-par 65 highlighted by a seven-hole streak to start the back nine with an eagle and six birdies over a seven-hole stretch. The 65 was a prep-best and second-best round of his career. Brophy sits in second place at 285 one stroke back of Notre Dame Prep at 284.
Junior Dylan Boenning and senior Tyler Spielman both posted rounds of 73. Freshman Nathan Ash carded a two-over par 74. Classmate Asher Nelson posted a 787.
Dall holds a three-stroke lead over James Rogers of Pinnacle (68) and Tyler Anderson (CHaparral) and Landon Ashcraft (Notre Dame Prep) at 69.
The second and final round will be played Friday afternoon with a shotgun start at 1:15 p.m.
