Golf Opens Season with Second-Place Dual Finish
The Broncos finished second-place finish in a four-team dual with Hamiton, Perry, and Williams Field. Brophy shot a 143, three strokes behind Hamilton and ahead of Perry (147) and Williams (Field (181).
Senior Henry Dall was tied for fourth overall at one-under par 35 after a round that included four birdies and three bogeys. Freshmen Asher Nelson and Nathan Ash shot an even-par 36 in their first prep rounds to tie for sixth overall with senior teammate Tyler Spielman. Junior Dylan Boenning was tied for 12th overall with a 38. Brophy hosts The Brophy Rodeo presented by PING on Friday and Saturday at Grayhawk Golf Course in Scottsdale.
