On Wednesday, the Brophy track and field team won the Fr. Olivier “Dutch” Friendship Invitational with 132 points to edge Corona del Sol. Brophy swept the long jump led by Rylan Umphrey with a jump of 22-3. Ryder Noche won the 100m in 11.13, while Brendon Luke took the 300m hurdles in 41.77. Hayes Chambers won the open high jump at 5-10. Brophy also took the Open 4x100m and 4x400m relays. The 4x100m relay included Hayes Chambers, Jack Sebald, Noche, and Umphrey: Luca Cannizo, Connor Brown, Jack Sebald, and Chris Honan combined for the last relay win.
