25th Annual Arizona Indoor Rowing Championships Set for Feb. 4

Brophy Crew is proud to host the 25th annual Arizona Indoor Rowing Championships in the Harry T. "Dutch" Olivier, S.J. Athletic Complex on Saturday, Feb 4 at 8 a.m.
 
Everyone is welcome! There are categories for all levels and age groups. The event was established in 1998 by former collegiate and Master's landlocked rowers living in the Phoenix area. First held at La Camarilla Racquet & Fitness Club before Tempe Town lake was constructed, the Arizona Indoor Rowing Championship has been an Arizona winter tradition for 25 years.

The event is a 2000-meter race on Concept 2 rowing ergometers. There is also a 3000-meter 4+2 relay event (4 erging members and two assistants). There is a "Fitness" category for non-rowing athletes. Fitness participants row 500-meter races on Concept 2 rowing ergometers.
 
It is the 25th anniversary of this event. There will be events for rowers and non-rowing athletes who wish to compete and is open too all Brophy students and alumni. There is a separate Women's and Men's "Fitness" Category for non-rowers where the distance is shortened to 500 meters.
 
Registration is open at https://www.regattacentral.com or on the day of the race. The registration is free for Brophy students and $20 for everyone else.
