Wrestling Sixth at WAR Duals, Record Six Top Finishes

GILBERT, Ariz. - Senior David Sweetman was named the WAR Duals Most Outstanding Wrestler after pinning Nick Hutchins of Arizona College Prep in 32 seconds of the Heavyweight final. The Broncos went 3-4 in the duals to place sixth overall and placed six wrestlers in the top six of the individual tournament.

David Sweetman was one of two Broncos to win titles on Saturday, joining freshman Adam Angulo, the 138-lb champion. He defeated Hadley Porter of Mongollon 6-3 in the final.

Blake Sweetman (190) and Jackson Sweetman (175) were runners-up in their weight classes. Sean Kennedy was third overall at 126 and freshman Khan Richardson took sixth at 132.
