Doug Drotzmann to Leave Manresa, Caretaker Search Commences

Longtime Manresa caretaker, Doug Drotzmann, is leaving at the end of the school year and Brophy has begun the search for a new caretaker. A position description with contact information is here.

Mr. Drotzmann has been a fixture at Manresa for 23 years, welcoming Brophy retreatants with a ready smile and home-cooked meals. Additionally, he has maintained the retreat campus during that time. He will be missed and we wish him well as he moves out of state to be closer to family.

Manresa sits on the banks of Oak Creek outside of Sedona. The caretaker is provided a home next door as well as a vehicle. The unique position requires the ability to cook for large groups of students, solid home-maintenance skills and a love of the outdoors, plus other requirements as outlined in the position description.
