Brophy Rowing to Represent at 2022 Head of the Charles

BOSTON – Juniors Ian O’Riley, Will Carter and Hayden Penn will compete in the Head of the Charles on Sunday. O’Riley will race at 4:45 a.m., Arizona time and Carter and Penn start at 9:29 p.m. Arizona time.

All three have big race experience after performances at the USRowing Youth National Championships this summer.

O’Riley placed second in the Grand Final in the U17 single division. He crossed second overall just 2.6 seconds behind to win the silver medal and the No. 2 national ranking.

Penn and Carter finished 14th in the “C” final of the U17 double division, narrowly missing third place in a photo finish.
