2022 Brophy Prep Lacrosse Season in Review 

Highlights from the 2022 Lacrosse season:

  • The Broncos won the Arizona Lacrosse League State championship with an 11-8 win over Desert Vista to complete an undefeated season against Arizona teams. Brophy Prep went 21-2 overall, 12-0 in the regular season, and 7-0 in the North Conference. The Broncos defeated Oro Valley (18-7), Arcadia (20-5), and Boulder Creek (17-3) on the way to the title match.
  • Attack Cole Rassas ‘22 was named a US Lacrosse All-American, Arizona Player of the Year, and Arizona Offensive Player of the Year.
  • Midfielder Cameron Boyer ‘22 was named a US Lacrosse Academic All-American.
  • Four players were named to the Arizona Lacrosse All-State first team including Rassas, Boyer, defense Charlie McGinnis, and LSM Noah Burdick.
  • Rassas led the team with 93 goals, 42 assists, and 39 groundballs. Boyer had 34 goals, 24 assists, and 50 groundballs and added 22 goals and 20 assists. McGinnis recorded 40 caused turnovers and 40 ground balls, while Burdick scooped up 62 ground balls and had 29 caused turnovers.  
  • Nine student-athletes were named to the Arizona Lacrosse All-Star game including Cole Rassas, Cameron Boyer, Charlie McGinnis, Noah Burdick and Josh Minton on the White team and Caleb Greenfield, Thomas Haak, Laid Miller, and Ryan Kennedy on the Blue team.
  • Rassas (U.S. Air Force Academy) and Greenfield (Illinois Wesleyan) will continue their careers in college.
