We Are Brophy

Brophy College Preparatory, the only Catholic, Jesuit high school in Arizona, strives
to educate the whole person through rigorous academics and innovative technology,
through outreach and service, and through retreats and personal reflection.
In the Jesuit tradition, Brophy graduates Men for Others -
leaders in the global communities they serve.
The Class of 2018 was accepted into 196 colleges and universities. Over one-third of the 311 students (112) graduated with Academic Distinction (a weighted GPA of 4.0 or above). Twenty-eight graduates earned a level of National Merit Scholar recognition (11 National Merit Finalists and 17 National Merit Commended Scholars), and 102 graduates earned some level of Advanced Placement Scholar distinction. This Advanced Placement recognition included six students named National Advanced Placement Scholars with scores that average "4" or higher on all AP exams and scores of at least a "4" on eight or more exams.

In athletics, Brophy fields 26 teams in 11 Arizona interscholastic sports and nine teams in four club sports. Brophy's teams and athletes have earned 91 state titles. In playing for Brophy, athletes acknowledge their talents are God-given and in the spirit of St. Ignatius of Loyola, they compete AMDG -  for the greater glory of God.

The heart and soul of Brophy is the Office of Faith and Justice which organizes retreats, community service work and immersion trips. Through these activities students realize the true value of a Jesuit education, with opportunities to nurture their faith, grow as leaders and strengthen their commitment to serving others.

All efforts - academic, athletic, service and ministry - reflect Brophy's Jesuit motto - Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam, a Latin phrase meaning for the greater glory of God.
