Dr. Ana Moran to Receive 2021 Inés Pascual Award at Mother-Son Mass
Dr. Ana Moran, a Valley infectious disease specialist, has been named the recipient of the 2021 Inés Pascual Award. She will be recognized at this year's Mother-Son Mass, Feb. 20 in St. Francis Xavier Church.
Dr. Moran has played a pivotal role in helping guide Brophy's response to the pandemic. Additionally, she has provided care for COVID patients without health insurance and also supports many of Arizona's Native American communities in a volunteer capacity. The Inés Pascual Award is named for a Spanish noblewoman who supported St. Ignatius of Loyola on both his literal and metaphorical journey that led to the founding of the Society of Jesus — the Jesuits, the largest male religious order in the Catholic Church.
