Brophy Celebrates November as Native American History Month

As part of Native American History Month, Brophy acknowledges that Brophy was built on native land — sacred land that was once the traditional home of the Piipaash (Maricopa) and the Akimel O'odham (Pima) people. These tribes are still a part of our community today and Brophy will be working with the Salt River and Gila River Indian communities to learn more about the history of the land Brophy sits on and how we are called to collaborate in its care.

Native American History Month is also an important opportunity to recognize the contributions of our Native American students as we honor their heritage and make sure their voices are heard.
