Start the new year with fun, fitness, and fellowship as we hike the beautiful Pinnacle Peak trailhead. Attention Readers! There are less than two weeks to finish January’s book, “Before We Were Yours” by Lisa Wingate, a riveting drama based on true events that took place in the 1930s. Join your fellow Senior Moms for a little bit of work and a lot of play as we socialize and assemble Valentine goody bags for our sweet sons’ next treat day, which is Thursday, Feb. 13 at 9:50 a.m. in the SAC. Black Family Alliance Black History Month Festival – Saturday, Feb. 8, 12-4 p.m., Brophy College Preparatory
Brophy, in partnership with the Brophy Black Family Alliance, is hosting a Black History Month festival. This inaugural event celebrates how the African-American/Black diaspora community has positively influenced and shaped America and the global community. Join us as we celebrate the significant contributions of the Black community to American culture, and as we highlight the presence and impact of the Black community within Brophy’s student body. There will be music, dance, spoken word and oratory performances; Black art and history displays; Archwood, a community-based vendor marketplace; food for purchase from favorite local vendors and top-rated food trucks; games; a mobile African-American History Museum with Public Enemy’s Prof. Griff; and much more. We are excited to show the unity of our Brophy community and our amazing campus. The festival is open to the greater Phoenix community at no charge and all are welcome!
L.I.F.T. Meeting – Thursday, Feb. 13, 10:30 a.m., Brophy Chapel
Our next L.I.F.T. meeting will take place in the Brophy Chapel on Feb. 13 before the Mothers’ Guild meeting. Join us as we gather as women of faith for devotional and prayer and for a truly uplifting and encouraging time. L.I.F.T. is non-denominational and alumni moms are always welcome. Please join us at our February luncheon meeting. We are pleased that Seamus Walsh, Assistant Principal for Academics, will join us to speak about Brophy's academic program. Additionally, we’re excited to announce that Paul Fisko, Assistant Principal for Ministry, will preview the upcoming Summit on Human Dignity: The World and Water. Please join us for this special spring tradition that focuses on the bond between a mother and son. An eBlast with a registration/payment link will be sent on Jan. 17, cost is $39 per person. Please join us for an inspirational morning of music, prayer, reading and reflection in our very own Brophy Chapel. All faiths are welcome. SAVE THE DATE! The All-Class Mothers' Guild Spring Retreat is scheduled for Feb. 28-29, 2020. Your opportunity to express interest in attending will come in a couple of weeks, so be on the look out for more communications. Your retreat committee is already hard at work and we look forward to this special event! Senior Mom Mothers' Guild Retreat – Saturday, Feb. 29-Sunday, March 1
Join us at this special retreat, just for Senior Moms, as we celebrate the wonderful accomplishment of our boys graduating from Brophy. The retreat is for one night starting at 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 29, until 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 1. Cost is $45 and there are no refunds for this event. Look for an eBlast on Jan. 17 with an interest form link that will go live at 6 a.m. on Jan. 21. Space is limited to 60 moms, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Out of respect for all attending, we ask that you register ONLY if you are able to stay for the entire retreat. NO late arrivals or early departures are permitted, nor may you leave and return mid-retreat. Please check your calendar (and your son's calendar!) before you register. Brophy Spring Auction – “Under the Boardwalk”

It's already that time. Fresh off the enormous success of the 2019 Brophy Fashion Show, 2020 co-chairs Nancy Bates and Tess Burleson are jumping right into planning for another amazing event in the fall. Brophy Prayer Chain
The Brophy Prayer Warriors are lovingly committed to offering prayer support for anyone in the Brophy community who has a medical or personal concern. They are here for you in a time of need. Prayer requests from our community will be shared by email and each member of the group will pray for the specific intention in their own special way.
