Staying in Touch as We Practice Social Distancing: A Note to Brophy Moms

No, we didn't see this coming, but here we are and blessed that there are ways we can still connect, maintain friendships, and support our sons. Let's connect online and keep one another, and our sons and families, in our prayers! If you haven't already, please join our Brophy Moms' Facebook Group  (you must request to join — we are watching closely and will accept your request promptly). Please note... We kindly ask that no one sets up a Brophy Mothers' Guild Facebook class page on her own. Brophy Mothers' Guild-branded social media must be established through the executive committee. Thank you! We look forward to providing a positive, vibrant online forum for Brophy moms!

Mothers' Guild Newsletter

Happy Summer, Brophy Moms!
The Brophy Mothers’ Guild has a long history of providing support for the faculty, staff and administration of our special school as well as of our lovely mothers and families and, of course, our sweet sons. Next year will be no exception and we will hold meetings, activities and events virtually or in-person when we are able. Please know that we are in the process of creating a calendar full of exciting events that will inspire and engage our spirits. Please read below for current events and a sneak peek at a few ways to get involved. Meanwhile, we hope that you and your family find many moments of joy this summer!

Brophy Mothers’ Guild Facebook Page
In an effort to consolidate all of our motherly wisdom into one location, we combined the Brophy class of 2024, 2023, 2022 and 2021 Facebook group pages into the existing Brophy Mothers’ Guild Facebook group. This is a great way for our moms to stay in touch over the summer months and beyond. If you are not already connected, join now! Please know that you must request to join the group, but we will monitor and grant access quickly.

Mothers’ Guild Meetings
Please join us at our monthly Mothers’ Guild Meetings! Each month, you’ll learn about what’s happening at Brophy, hear relevant and engaging speakers and learn about a wide range of volunteer and social opportunities. Getting involved throughout your sons’ high school experience is the best way to feel at home at Brophy and meet other women who have teenage boys. Our first meeting will be held virtually in August – please watch your email for a digital invitation. We can’t wait to see you online! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Lana Holmes

Mothers’ Guild Membership - Infinitely Valuable
Please take a moment to become a Lifetime Member of the Brophy Mothers’ Guild. It’s truly a great investment, as your one-time $200 membership fee will not only get you and a guest into all Brophy home athletic, theater and music events for the rest of time, but you’ll also get a fantastic card with your name on it and a special Brophy Mothers’ Guild tumbler. In addition, you’ll be supporting the great work of our 20+ committees. Come join the fun! Click here to sign up today. If you have questions, please contact Brandi Sutton.

Virtual Summer L.I.F.T. Meeting - July 16, 10 a.m.
Ladies in Faith Together (L.I.F.T.) continues through the summer! Our next meeting will be held virtually at 10 a.m. on July 16. Please join us as we enjoy prayer, fellowship and time with God's Word! Alumni welcome! For more information, please contact Grace Dubberly. #Godnevergoesonvacation

Monthly Staff Breakfast – A Great Way to Show Our Appreciation!
Please consider assisting with a long-standing Mothers’ Guild tradition of showing our beloved Brophy Faculty and Staff how much we appreciate them with a monthly breakfast. Please watch for more information on how you can help. This is a wonderful way to get involved. Email Cathi Triplett with questions or to sign up as a volunteer.

Brophy Prayer Chain
The Brophy Prayer Group is committed to offering prayer support for anyone in the Brophy community who has a medical or personal concern. These Prayer Warriors are here for you in time of need and also if you desire to send an intention for prayers. Prayer requests received will be shared by email with the prayer group, along with scripture that will inspire each person that participates. Each member will pray for the specific intention request in their own special way. Please contact Christy O’Gara at with your requests, and please confirm the family is aware and requests our prayers. Email Christy if you would like to be added to the Brophy Prayer Chain group.

A heartfelt thank you goes to …
  • The Brophy administration, faculty and staff for working tirelessly to make the summer school online learning experience a positive one for our boys.
  • All of the fabulous Mothers’ Guild volunteers for helping make the 2019–20 school year one to remember, for more reasons than one!
