It is time for our second senior moms’ get-together! The Senior Mom Committee is coordinating a surprise senior treat on Valentine’s Day. Join other moms of senior Brophy boys for an evening that is designed for mingling and making those special treat bags for our 2022 boys!. If you cannot make the social, but would like to donate candy, please drop it off at 121 W. Georgia Ave. in Phoenix prior to Wednesday, Feb 2.

Mothers’ Guild General Meeting – Thursday, Feb. 10, 5:30 p.m., Harper Great Hall
Join us in February as we welcome Brophy’s new student assistance counselor, Dr. Colleen Feeney Wilson. She will discuss some common mental health issues (depression, anxiety and substance abuse), how they look in teenage boys and when to seek outside help.

We will then break out into small groups to discuss ideas on how to connect with our sons and then come back together and share strategies for everyone to add to their own “toolbox”!

The social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. – heavy appetizers, wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be served! Dr. Feeney will begin her presentation shortly after 6 p.m. We can’t wait to see you!

Class of 2022 Moms – Monday, Feb. 14, 9:40-10:15 a.m., Brophy Outdoor Pavilion
Shh, this is a surprise for our senior boys! Come hand out treats and grab a hug from your favorite Brophy senior(s). The seniors will stop by during their morning break and pick up the goody bag and sweet treat that our wonderful Senior Mom Committee has planned for them. Come dressed in pink, red and white and enjoy the time on campus! Dads are welcome too!

Book Club – Wednesday, Feb. 16, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Herb Box
We hope you can join us at The Herb Box (7000 E. Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, Ariz.) for the February book club where we will discuss “The Four Winds” by Kristin Hannah. This is a story of heroism, family, love and hope set during the Dust Bowl in the 1930s. If you would like to be added to our list for monthly Evites, please contact brophymgbookclub@gmail.com.
