Staying in Touch as We Practice Social Distancing: A Note to Brophy Moms

No, we didn't see this coming, but here we are and blessed that there are ways we can still connect, maintain friendships, and support our sons. Let's connect online and keep one another, and our sons and families, in our prayers! If you haven't already, please join our Brophy Moms' Facebook Group  (you must request to join — we are watching closely and will accept your request promptly). Please note... We kindly ask that no one sets up a Brophy Mothers' Guild Facebook class page on her own. Brophy Mothers' Guild-branded social media must be established through the executive committee. Thank you! We look forward to providing a positive, vibrant online forum for Brophy moms!

The Brophy Mothers’ Guild would like to congratulate the Class of 2020 Brophy graduates and their families. This will be our final eNews until the summer issue on June 19. We will start back up with our bi-monthly publication in August. Have a relaxing and safe summer.
With many blessings,
The Mothers’ Guild Executive Board

Update on Mothers’ Guild 2020–21 Activities
We are looking forward to next year! Please be assured that the 2020–21 Mothers’ Guild Executive Board and Committee Chairs are already hard at work organizing and planning for the upcoming school year. Stay tuned for more information as our plans come together. Have a wonderful summer and watch your inbox for our June newsletter!

Senior Moms – A Reminder for Your Sons
Your senior sons recently received a Google form from the Office of Alumni Relations, sent to their Brophy email address. They were asked to fill it out so Brophy can stay in touch with them after graduation. Would you mind giving your son a gentle reminder to fill out this form? Brophy is expanding its alumni efforts and we don’t want your boys to miss out on information and fun events when they are home from college. As alumni moms, you will be hearing from us more, as well, as we expand our efforts to keep you more connected to Brophy after graduation. Questions? Please contact our Alumni Moms Chair, Stephanie Papadopoulos.

Help Us Welcome Our Newest Families as a New Student Sponsor!
We would love your help as a New Student Sponsor. Please consider joining our committee to call parents of incoming freshman/transfer students over the summer, checking in to welcome them to Brophy and answer any questions they may have. Ideally, we will ask you to make about ten calls, during the weeks prior to school starting. We also need five to six Spanish-speaking parents who can call families. If you could lend some phone time, please email Ryall Fox

Brophy Prayer Chain
The Brophy Prayer Warriors are lovingly committed to offering prayer support for anyone in the Brophy community who has a medical or personal concern. They are here for you in time of need. Prayer requests from our community will be shared by email and each member of the group will pray for the specific intention in their own special way. Please contact Christy O’Gara at cmogara@cox.netwith your prayer requests (please confirm the family is aware a request has been made) and also to be added to the Brophy Prayer Chain group.

A heartfelt thank you goes to …
  • MORE thanks to the Senior Mom co-chairs Linda Abele, Teresa Brown, Leah Craft, Natalee Leber and Dona Whitney for planning and delivering the final surprises for our 2020 Seniors. • The Brophy Administration and Faculty/Staff for your tireless efforts to think outside the box and plan thoughtful virtual, drive-through and drive-in celebrations for the Class of 2020 and the incoming class of 2024, despite not being able to gather for traditional events on campus.
