Join the book club as we discuss “The Gilded Years,” by Karin Tanabe. This thrilling and foreboding historical novel about the life of Anita Hemmings, the first black student to attend Vassar, highlights social and racial rules in nineteenth century America. Brophy Hiking Club – Thursday, Jan. 21, 8:45 a.m., Pinnacle Peak Trail
Start the new year with fun, fitness and fellowship as we hike the beautiful Pinnacle Peak trailhead. This 3.5 mile out-and-back trail allows you to turn around whenever you want. Meet us at 26802 N. 102nd Way in Scottsdale at 8:45 a.m. with water, sunscreen and athletic shoes. Note that dogs are not permitted on this trail and, although there are restrooms, we are unsure about COVID precautions.

Brophy Fashion Show – Thursday, March 25, 2021, The Camelback Inn
The Fashion Show General Raffle kicks off this Monday, Jan. 11. Be on the lookout for the email with the link to purchase tickets. Five fabulous prizes will be raffled — $5,000 cash, a parking spot for the 2021–22 school year, a Peloton bike, a fashionable Louis Vuitton purse and a $2,000 gift card to Restoration Hardware.
There are a few raffle tickets left for the brand new 2021 BMW sDrive28i! Don’t miss your opportunity to win this prize worth $47,199. Only 300 raffle tickets will be sold at $250 each.
