So if we stop using disposable plastic bottles what can we use instead?
Reusable bottles that are safe to be refilled such as stainless steel water bottles.
1. Chemicals leached from plastics are harmful to our health.
2. Manufacturing & disposal of plastic pollutes air, land & water.
3. Over 3-million tons of plastic are used worldwide to bottle
water each year - most ends up in a landfill.
(Your Guide to Green)
Where can you get them?
Right at Brophy! Yep, that’s right. We now have stainless steel water bottles for just $10 (the cheapest price in town!) Bottles will go on sale during the Summit through the Office of Faith and Justice or at one of the tables during lunch and break. Once the Summit is over bottles will still be available through the Varsity Shop.
Join the craze! Go green! Leave disposable plastic water bottles behind and try out the new Brophy stainless steel bottles! (Available in red and silver. See below for a sample of the silver Brophy bottle.)
