Chico Bags

The average American uses between 300 and 700 plastic bags per year. If everyone in the United States tied their annual consumption of plastic bags together in a giant chain, the chain would reach around the earth 760 times! (ChicoBag)

Learn the facts about plastic bags…

So if we stop using disposable plastic bags what can we use instead?
Reusable bags that are stylish, good for the environment, compact and convenient.

Where can you get them?
Right at Brophy!  Yep, that’s right.  We now have reusable Brophy shopping bags for just $5 (the cheapest price in town!)  Bags will go on sale during the Summit through the Office of Faith and Justice or at one of the tables during lunch and break.  Once the Summit is over bags will still be available through the Varsity Shop.
Join the craze!  Go green!  Leave disposable plastic bags behind and try out the new Brophy reusable shopping bag! (Available in red and black.  See below for a sample of the silver Brophy bags.)
