Summit Opening Mass
Rev. Tobias Karcher, S.J.

As stated in our Summit Mission Statement, “These summits serve as an immersion experience through which students are asked to reflect on how their faith calls them to respond to a complicated world” and so we appropriately open each Summit in prayer and worship at Mass.  This year we are pleased to welcome Fr. Tobias Karcher, S.J., Director of the Heinrich Pesch Haus in Germany as our opening Mass presider.  Fr. Karcher will lead the Brophy community in a prayerful start to the Summit, encouraging the student body to fully engage in the experience of the Summit and asking for God’s grace to guide and challenge all of us as we examine issues of climate change, stewardship and sustainability.
