Senior Returns from Scholarship Opportunity in China
Brandon Hulston '17 spent the past six weeks studying Mandarin in China. Hulston was awarded a scholarship thorugh the U.S. Department of State's National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y).
Annually, approximately 600 students nationally are selected through a competitive application process. "I was excited when I found out because I knew I had beat out a lot of other smart, competitive kids. It's an honor." Hulston told the Arcadia News.
