The next step in the student scheduling process will take place between February 17-21, when students will have the opportunity to declare course requests online for the 2012-2013 school year.

Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors who are interested in possibly taking an Honors or AP (Advanced Placement) course next year need to submit the completed application to their current teacher or the department chair of the department to which they’re applying no later than January 30.
Students taking Gospels in Action or Senior Synthesis starting next semester, are required to read and do the study guide for the appropriate Summer Reading book for your course over Christmas break.
Students and parents should note that the add/drop period for Semester 2 courses ends on Friday, January 6.
The Brophy Knowledge Masters academic team competed against 576 high schools this past Wednesday and once again took first place in Arizona.

Congratulations to the following members of the senior class who are recognized for their achievement on the PSAT. They are among the top 5% of test takers nationally.
Senior Exams – Senior exams are given May 11th, 12th, and 13th. Once a student has taken the final exam for the class on these days, he will not attend that class again.
9th-11th Grade Exams are May 18-20th.

The summer school bulletin will be available on the Brophy website beginning March 1st. Academic programs for incoming 5th – 8th graders and sports camps for incoming 3rd – 8th graders will be available this summer.
Brophy’s Quiz Bowl team coached by Cheryl Lenox and Patrick Kolb took home a state title last Saturday. The Quiz Bowl team took home another first place showing at an NAQT qualifier against 14 other teams.
