The technology department will be running mandatory iPad configuration and training workshops the week before school starts. During these workshops, freshmen will receive their iPads and accessories, download essential apps, configure their iPads, and learn the basics they will need to know to use them effectively as an educational tool and resource. Attendance by all freshmen on the scheduled day is required (see below). The sessions will take place in Brophy’s Information Commons, which is directly below the gymnasium—the entrance is on the south side of the gym. Students are not required to purchase any accessories or other equipment for their iPads. Everything they need—including cases, keyboards, and styluses—will be provided. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jim Bopp, Assistant Principal for Technology and Instruction, at jbopp@brophyprep.org. (Please note that the “Rollout Night” originally scheduled for August 6th has been cancelled.)
