This past long weekend, Brophy Mock Trial attended the first tournament of the season, the Xavier Mock Trial Invitational. All in all, the boys did QUITE well — if you walked into the mock court rooms, you might be surprised that some of them weren’t real lawyers or star reporters testifying about bed bugs (the rather itchy theme of this year’s case). Some of our boys deserve a special shout out: Patrick Scheuring earned 3rd place in the “Best Single Round Performance” category, and Blake Tonn wowed everyone with a *perfect* score, earning 1st place in “Best Single Round Performance.”

If you see any of the boys who participated, please give them your congratulations — and if you wish to see any of the more high stakes tournaments, the next ones with THREE Brophy teams competing will be on March 3rd and 24th!
