Summer School Credit Classes

On February 16, 2012, in School News, by Blair Cook

Beginning today, Brophy families will be able to view credit options for summer school classes (e.g. incoming 9th-12th graders) and register for a class if they so desire.  Options range from 24-day 0.5-credit classes for incoming 9th graders (they can take up to two if they want, and will receive all information and their NetClassroom login and password in their admissions packet) to various options for incoming 10th - 12th graders: 12-day 0.5-credit classes, 24-day 1.0-credit classes, and even a 20-day afternoon 0.5-credit fine arts class.  Courses are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and students are free to go see their counselor if they want to ask a question about the best course to take, if at all.  Students will also be able to register for a variety of athletic classes that take place around the credit class schedule.  A link to the registration portal can be found on the Summer Session information link here: http://www.brophyprep.org/academics/summer-school/.  Students will need their NetClassroom login and ID and a credit card to register.  To pay in person by check, students should see Mr. Oldani, the Director of Scheduling, in Romley Hall.  Any questions concerning summer credit offerings can be sent to Mr. Seamus Walsh at swalsh@brophyprep.org.
