Students and parents should note that the add/drop period for Semester 2 courses ends on Friday, January 6. Any student who is interested in potentially switching elective courses or dropping from an Honors or AP class to a regular class needs to contact his counselor before that date so that a change in schedule can be discussed and investigated, if necessary. The best method of doing this is to email one’s counselor and c.c. email@example.com before January 4th with information and reflection on the potential switch (e.g. what class does the student want to change, to what, and why?). There are no added classes after Friday, January 6, and any changes permitted after the 6th will result in a W up until the end of the 3rd quarter. No classes may be dropped after the quarter.
