This week we celebrate Catholic Schools Week, when all Catholic schools nationwide celebrate their many achievements and the fact that we continue to bring the Gospel message to students.
On Tuesday January 31st, Brophy will begin defense of its state soccer title. Brophy is the 6th seeded team in the 16 team bracket and will play San Luis from Yuma. The game will be at 5:00p.m. at Chaparral. Cost will be Adults $8.00, students with I.D. $6.00.
Loyola Academy is currently accepting applications for incoming sixth graders.
Athletes will be partnered with Brophy freshmen to spend the day together participating in various games and activities.
This event is part of the Brophy Freshman Experience that began with the Frosh Retreat in September. All Brophy Freshmen are required to participate.
Brophy’s SAT Prep class provides a basic foundation for taking the SAT-I on Saturday, March 10th.
The Mother & Son Communion Breakfast will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012. Reservations are being accepted through Thursday, January 26.
Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors who are interested in possibly taking an Honors or AP (Advanced Placement) course next year need to submit the completed application to their current teacher or the department chair of the department to which they’re applying no later than January 30.

Students taking Gospels in Action or Senior Synthesis starting next semester, are required to read and do the study guide for the appropriate Summer Reading book for your course over Christmas break.
Students and parents should note that the add/drop period for Semester 2 courses ends on Friday, January 6.
Final Semester 1 letter grades will be available on NetClassroom the evening of Friday, January 6th.
