The Brophy Special Olympics Game Day is offered in collaboration with Special Olympics Arizona and is an opportunity for Brophy Freshmen to interact with Special Olympic athletes from around the valley in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

As you hopefully know, this week we are in the midst of our annual Summit on Human Dignity. If you haven’t yet visited the Summit Website, I encourage you to do so to learn about all that your son is experiencing during these weeks.
The 2011 Summit runs February 28th-March 9th. Through this Summit, we hope to create a forum in which the Brophy community, and in particular our students, will consider the realities of food production nutrition and food insecurity, as well as the Catholic tradition’s perspective on how to navigate these realities in just and sustainable ways, so as to guide our personal and communal response.
Over the long President’s Day weekend, 11 Brophy students and two faculty members travelled to Los Angeles for a weekend plunge. Last Saturday, February 26th, the Brophy Quiz Bowl team took home another first place showing at an NAQT qualifier against 14 other teams.
