  • > Magis Moments — Submit by April 12

Each year, Brophy creates a commemorative Commencement program that lists each senior, the college he plans to attend, senior awards bestowed by Brophy and other information that encapsulates the Brophy experience. This year we are introducing a special section in the program called Magis Moments. Magis Moments are accomplishments and awards not bestowed by Brophy but the result of pushing oneself to achieve above and beyond the requirements of Brophy's already rigorous academic, athletic and extracurricular activities. "Magis," Latin for "more," illustrates the Ignatian precepts of reaching for the frontiers and challenging oneself to venture beyond what is known and comfortable. Open this form to view additional information, including examples, and please submit up to three Magis Moments by Friday, April 12, 2024.

Please note: Do not include college acceptances as part of Magis Moments. Separate from Magis Moments, the counseling department provides a list of seniors and the college each is attending. The commencement program does not list all college acceptances; only the college each senior is attending.

For the commencement program, Magis Moments is the only form to complete (outside of what students enter into Maia for the counseling department) and the Magis Moments form is only for scholarships and awards given by colleges, the AIA or other organizations outside of Brophy. Magis Moments can also include accomplishments such as Eagle Scout and extraordinary feats such as marathon swims and mountain climbing. Please see the form for other examples.

Please email communications@brophyprep.org with any questions.
