From the Brophy Dads’ Club

It is my pleasure to welcome all of the new dads’ to Brophy College Preparatory.   The veteran dads’ know that something is always going on at Brophy.   Many of your son’s are already part of the Brophy experience.  Some are furthering their education as they attend summer school or the SHEP program.  Some are developing their character and values as they participate in summer immersion trips or complete their Loyola project.  Others are developing their athletic skills and learning teamwork through the sports and conditioning programs.

In keeping with the spirit of “Men for Others” the Dads’ Club is planning many events to support our boys and the Brophy staff for 2011-2012.  Our fundraising is well underway as we welcome over 130 new members to the Dads’ Club.  If you have not yet joined, now is the time, here is a link to our website.  Dads’ Club Online Application

This year we have a record number of individuals and businesses advertising in the Brophy Sports Program.  Membership and advertisement forms are posted on the Brophy web site, are part of the summer mailing, and are available for download here.  We will also coordinate and staff many of the community service and Brophy social events.

The Dads’ Club is the perfect venue to meet new friends, serve this school community, and more fully enjoy the “Brophy Experience”.  I encourage you to get involved early and take advantage of this special time in your son’s life.
