Parents and Runners,
Welcome back to school! Hope everyone is adjusting well to the early morning practices. Just 11 more AM practices before we go to after school practices.
1. If you missed Athletic Night on Monday, please make sure you check the website (Sports-Teams-Cross Country) throughout the season for announcements, directions, and results. All runners must have a physical on file prior to practicing and must turn in a signed transportation permission forms to Coach Keahon.

3. In addition to the meets, Brophy Cross Country will have several functions with Xavier Cross Country.
a. Saturday, September 4: Pot Luck breakfast after our first meet. A separate email will go out via "Jooners" where people can sign up to bring items. This event is for runners, coaches and all family members. If you live near Hayden and Indian Ben and would like to provide the location for this event, please contact me.
b. Friday, September 17 at 5:30 PM: Spaghetti Dinner hosted by the Ghelfi family for runners and coaches. This is the evening prior to the George Young Invitational. Brophy and Xavier are the host of this meet. A few volunteers may be needed to help with the meet on Saturday.
c. Wednesday, October 6: Pizza for runners and coaches after the duel meet at Granada Park.
d. Friday, October 8: Spaghetti Dinner host by the Williams family for runner and coaches. This event is prior to the Doug Conley meet.
e. Saturday, November 6 (evening) or Sunday, November 14 (late afternoon): TBD End of season get together for runners, coaches and all family members.
4. The Brophy Cross Country Awards Banquet will be on Monday, November 8 at the Brophy Great Hall.
5. Cross Country Merchandise: The merchandise is offered to us through the Brophy Varsity Shop. Order forms are due by Saturday, September 4. Orders must be placed as a group. You can turn it in to Lisa Ghelfi at the Pot Luck or you can mail the form and payment to her.
