Red Team: April 2008 Archives

Hi all! Here are some notes for this week...

1)       BEST Intrasquad Meet is this Saturday. Pancake breakfast begins at 7:30am. (Please see the sheet that was in your file folders as to what you need to bring in.) Team pictures will take place at 8:10am. Meet warm-ups will begin at 8:30 with the meet starting at 9:30. The meet should be over by 12:30.

2)       BEST Awards Banquet is this Sunday. You need to purchase tickets in advance. Please see Sandy in the office to do this. Tickets will not be available at the door.

3)       Gauchos Meet (for those not swimming Cactus Classic) is May 17^th and 18^th. I need your participation form turned in by tomorrow if you plan on swimming in that meet. I will not enter swimmers without that form.

4)       Summer practice schedule will begin Tuesday, May 27^th. I will pass out schedules to the swimmers in the next couple of weeks.

5)       Schedules - Looking ahead...

·         Friday, May 9^th - 5:30 - 7:30 with Blue

·         Saturday, May 10^th - 9:00 - 11:30 with Blue

·         Sunday, May 17^th - 10:00 - 11:30 (No Dryland)

·         Friday, May 23^rd - 5:00 - 6:30

·         Saturday, May 24^th - No Practice

·         Monday, May 26^th - No Practice

·         Tuesday, May 27^th - Summer schedule begins

6)       There will be a parent meeting for the Red Group on Wednesday, May 14^th. The meeting will be from 6:00-7:00. More information to come.

1)       BEST Intrasquad Meet is Saturday, May 3^rd. Entries were e-mailed out and posted on the bulletin board. There will be a pancake breakfast and team pictures prior to the meet that day.

2)       BEST Awards Banquet is Sunday, May 4^th. You need to purchase tickets for this in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Please stop into the office to purchase. Hope everyone can attend!

4)       Gauchos Meet (May 17^th - 18^th)...This meet is for swimmers not competing in Cactus Classic. Participation forms were put in folders last week for those eligible. You need to turn that participation form back to me by April 30^th. I will not enter a swimmer without that form.

5)       Cactus Classic (May 23^rd - 26^th)...Entries have been out for awhile. We will update times and events after the Intrasquad Meet.

6)       I will have a parent meeting for the Red Group on Wednesday, May 14^th. The meeting will be 6:00 - 7:00. More information to come.
