Arizona masters swimming board is looking for individuals interested filling 5 positions that will open up this year. These are 2 year positions, if interested see Coach Mark or Kim Bernard with any questions.

Congratulations to our Brophy masters swim team for the first place finish at our Longcourse State Championship! We had some great swimming with 35 individual event state champions, 11 high point winners and we won by 1500+ points! Thank you to all of you that helped that weekend we could not have done it without you. A special thank you to Sandy Lee and the coaching staff for giving up one of their weekends.
Hi all! Here are some notes for this week..
1) First off, Congrats to all the swimmers on a successful Age Group State Championship!!!!! We beat SAC by 8 points! This really shows that every swimmer and every relay matters in the point total. Now that we are Champions, there will be more people coming after us...we will need to make sure we keep rising every year!
2) I am just trying to get an idea of who will be around to swim in the Season Finale (August 2nd and 3rd). If you will not be attending, please let me know asap. I already have the following swimmers NOT attending:
Audrey, Allison and Kevin Mann
Cal Higgins
Martin Cardenas
Ben Bonfiglio (attending Saturday only)
3) Practice Schedules for the rest of summer....

4) BEST Team break starts Monday, August 4th. We will resume practice for Red on Wednesday, August 20th. I will let swimmers and parent know in the next week who will be moving to another group in the Fall.

Just a reminder that we are hosting are state championship this weekend (7/11-7/13) and if you are not swimming we would love your help! Sign up sheets for help are located on the masters board or see coach Mark.
We will not have a Friday PM practice (7/11) due to the meet, however you may come in for lap swim at that time. Sunday noon practice (7/13) is cancelled due to the meet, however you may come in for lap swim during the meet.
TEAM SOCIAL: Team social after the meet on Sunday at McKennas on the corner of 28th St. and Indian School (the old Vine). All are welcome to come!

Hi all! Hope everyone had a great 4th! Here are some notes for this week...
1) Practice schedule for the rest of this week..
· Tuesday 7/8 - 7:00-9:00am Swim (No Running)
· Wednesday 7/9 - 7:00-9:00am Swim (All) 9:00-9:30 Dryland (Same group as today) 2:30-4:00pm (Same group as today)
· Thursday 7/10 - 7:00-9:00am Swim (No Running)
· Friday 7/11 - 7:00-9:00am Swim - No Doubles or dryland
· Saturday 7/12 - 8:00-10:00am Swim - No Running or dryland
2) Meet entries for the State Championship Meets are now posted. They are also in each file folder. Please let me know ASAP if there are any problems.
3) All swimmers should bring racing suits to practice Friday morning.
4) Looking ahead - first day of break will begin August 4th and Silver will return on August 18th. Swimmers will be expected to continue practicing until the 4th even if they are not swimming Season Finale or Far Westerns.
That is all for right now. This has been a great summer and I have been seeing some amazing things in practice out of the swimmers! This should be a fun end of season!
