By now you should have received an email from your swimmer's coach asking for your help to fill their table at the Power Breakfast happening on Tuesday, April 8th on Brophy's main campus. It is important that BEST be well represented at the breakfast by the people who use the Sports Campus the most. Please email your swimmer's coach and tell them that you would like to show your support by sitting at their table. Thank you!

On Saturday, April 26th, Arizona Swimming is hosting a clinic designed for those interested in becoming a swim meet official. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to be involved. The majority of officials at BEST have senior swimmers, so we are looking for parents of our younger swimmers to get some training. You have to be at the meets anyway, so why not be an official. Please contact AZ Swimming at the following address to RSVP by April 15th event@azswimming.org
The clinic will also have training for those interested in learning to operate Hy-tek's Meet Manager software. This is the software that runs our meets.
Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. followed by sessions pertaining to what ever area you are interested in learning about. Lunch will also be served.

I want to personally thank everyone for making this past weekend a great one.
A HUGE thank you goes to Sandy Lee for leading the charge in hosting such a large undertaking. We basically hosted 2 meets - the AZ State Age Group Championships and the AZ State Senior Championships. We had every team in the state here, which amounted to over 1000 swimmers, plus coaches, officials and families/spectators.
Sandy, thanks for your tireless work and endless hours here for 4-5 days.
Whether you officiated or worked the clerk of course or helped make hospitality a big hit or patrolled the warm up pool & deck mashalling or manned the computers or timed...we could not have run such a wondeful and successful meet/weekend without you & your help. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all BEST parents. You are truly the best.
AND, to top it all off BEST won the Senior State meet and was 2nd in the Age Group State meet (getting closer to that 1st place). The BEST boys won the boys division of the AG State meet (Chris Webb was high point 13-14 boy & Celina Li was high point 11-12 girl). Congratulations to all of the BEST swimmers for a great weekend of swimming.
