IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS SCHEDULE, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
- If it is an administrative error (administrative errors are: a required class missing, two instances of the same class, the wrong level of a subject or a class you have already taken)? If yes, then please email the problem to SCHEDULING@BROPHYPREP.ORG explaining the error and it will be corrected with a class that satisfies the requirement. This must be done by July 21st. A new schedule will be provided to you at registration. You will not receive any confirmation until registration. Please do not send requests for different electives or requests to be placed in AP or Xavier classes unless it fits the criteria above.
- If this is not an administrative error (for example, you didn’t get an elective or AP class you wanted and you don’t want the one you got), then most likely the alternate class was assigned because it was the only one available or the only one that fit your schedule. For example, you requested Modern Fiction and were placed in Intro to Shakespeare or requested Photography and were placed in Drawing. A change might not be possible. When you meet your counselor at registration, you should discuss options with him or her and submit a change form signed by your counselor to Mr. Walsh. THIS TYPE OF A PROBLEM CANNOT BE ADDRESSED UNTIL AFTER YOU MEET YOUR COUNSELOR AT REGISTRATION. REMEMBER, JUST BECAUSE YOU REQUESTED A CLASS ON YOUR SCHEDULE FORM DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE GOING TO GET IT.
Please note: Brophy does not allow teacher requests. No schedule changes will be accepted over the phone nor will anyone be available to meet regarding scheduling in the summer. If there are specific scheduling questions, they should be asked of your counselor at registration and the problem will be addressed then.
All email requests for changes due to administrative errors must be received by July 21. A new schedule will be given to you at registration in August. They will not be mailed. PLEASE NOTE, THE BROPHY ACADEMIC OFFICES WILL BE CLOSED FROM JULY 1 TO AUGUST 14. ANY EMAILS REGARDING SCHEDULES RECEIVED AFTER JULY 14 WILL NOT BE ADDRESSED. THE ISSUE WILL HAVE TO BE TAKEN UP WITH YOUR COUNSELOR AT REGISTRATION. A $25.00 FEE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR SCHEDULE CHANGE REQUESTS MADE AFTER CLASSES START ON
AUGUST 21.
