Summer Study Opportunities

The following services are provided for all Brophy Prep students by the Counseling Department.

• Registration, scheduling, and program adjustment
   

• Parent/student conferences scheduled as requested and/or deemed necessary
   

• Administration and/or interpretation of appropriate achievement tests
   

• Course information for the following year
   

• Initiation of the process of staffing students with special needs
   

• Personal counseling as appropriate and as available for such needs as peer/parent relationships, student/teacher relationships, etc.
   

• Consultation with parents, teachers, staff and community agencies
   

• Referral to community agencies as appropriate
   

• Information to students and parents/guardians regarding career choices and training opportunities
   

• Information, registration and interpretation of placement and aptitude tests including PSAT/NMSQT, SAT 1 and SAT 2, ACT and AP exams
   

• Communication of opportunities for students to attend conferences for high school and post-high school educational programs, i.e. High school/College conferences, Career Fairs, Minority Programs, College Workshops, Academy Information Sessions, College Admissions Presentations.
   

• Heightened awareness and strengthening of ones spirituality for the being a "Man for Others."
   

• Information regarding summer opportunities both home and abroad
   

• Enhancement of extra curricular activities.
