Integral to any high school education is teaching our students
how to gather and critically analyze information. The Kemper and Ethel Marley
Information Commons provides students a place to access both print and electronic
information for the rigorous academic program at Brophy.
The
Commons is equipped with 60 Pentium IV computers that are networked to
Brophy's on-campus resources as well as the Internet. The computers run Microsoft's
Windows XP operating system, and have Microsoft Office 2007 as
well as numerous programs specific to the various academic disciplines. The Information Commons also has wireless Internet access.
The
Commons also has a 20,000 volume collection of books and periodicals for
student use.
Students
may also use the library for individual study, leisure reading, or group
work in the separate study rooms.
The
Information Commons is open from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday,
and 7:00-1:00 PM on Fridays.
