In order to reduce the amount of pollution we put in to the air on the way to school, we want to make sure no one comes to school by themselves. So we have the following opportunities available for you each day:
- Carpool. All registered carpools receive preferred parking on campus. Go to the Dean’s office or the website for a registration form that will get you the permit you need to register your carpool. New sophomore carpoolers can come by the Dean’s office to receive a “Get-Out-of-Detention-Free” card. There is a zip code map on Brophy’s website to help you find friends to carpool with.
- Ride a Brophy Bus. We have three busses that serve students from Carefree, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Ahwatukee, and Tempe. If you’re interested in participating in our private bus program, stop by the Dean’s office or download a transportation contract from our website. Brophy subsidizes 20% of the monthly cost of all our riders! All new riders can come to the Dean’s office for a “Get-Out-of-Detention-Free” card.
- Ride public transportation. We have bus passes available to students for a 20% discount at the Dean’s office. If you ride the bus, stop by and buy your passes there. Every time you purchase a bus pass you get a “Get-Out-of-Detention-Free” card from the Dean’s office.
- Walk or ride a bike. Any student who brings a letter to the Dean’s office from their parents that states that they walk or ride a bike to school more than 2 days a week will receive a “Get-Out-of-Detention-Free” card at the Dean’s office. Showers are available in the gym if you need them.
If you have any questions, please see Mr. Bopp in the Dean’s Office.
